Registration

Registration for PPDP, LOPSTR, SAS and affiliated events is now closed.

We request that at least one author of each accepted paper register at the full rate. If the only author who can attend the conference is a student and registrating at the full rate would pose a financial hardship, they may register at the student rate.

The registration fee includes proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, and the associated excursions and conference dinners. The joint PPDP and LOPSTR excursion and dinner is on Tuesday, September 6th and SAS has a separate conference dinner on Friday, September 9th.

Registration for PPDP, LOPSTR or both events includes one ticket to the joint PPDP/LOPSTR dinner. Registration for SAS includes one ticket to the SAS dinner. Registering for LOPSTR + SAS includes one ticket to your choice of either the PPDP/LOPSTR dinner or SAS dinner. Registering for PPDP + LOPSTR + SAS includes tickets to both dinner. Additional banquet tickets may be purchased. If you are unlikely to need your banquet ticket, please let us know so that we can offer it to someone else.

Registering for PPDP or LOPSTR includes access to SAS-affiliated workshops on Wednesday.

Free Registration for SICSA Ph.D. students.

Free registration to either PPDP/LOPSTR or SAS and its associated workshops is available for up to 10 Ph.D. students attending SICSA-affiliated institutions in Scotland. These free places will be allocated first to SICSA students who are volunteering to help with the conferences. Additional free places may be available on a first-come, first-served basis to students who are not willing to volunteer. Please contact James Cheney at the following address:

Visas

Please check here whether you require a visa to visit the UK. This can take 6-8 weeks. If you need a letter of invitation to assist you in obtaining a visa to the UK, please send an email to James Cheney at the following address:

with the subject "Visa Invitation Letter" and the following information:

1. Your name as it appears on your passport
2. Current postal mailing address
3. Your Registration Confirmation Information
4. If you have any papers accepted for presentation, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the 'sole author' or a 'co-author'.
